• Who uses it. Only Celeste staff. Clients do not sign in to it.
• How it is connected.A Celeste owner connects one client's QuickBooks company at a time, using the accountant access the client has already given Celeste in QuickBooks. A client can remove that access in QuickBooks at any time, and the connection then stops.
• What it does.It reads accounting data (accounts, transactions, reconciliations and reports) so that our team can check the books we keep: that reconciliations tie out, that nothing is left uncategorised, and that the figures look in line with the company's own history. It does not create, change or delete anything in QuickBooks.
• What we keep.The connection keys are stored encrypted. Results of each check, and the figures they rest on, are kept for the length of the engagement plus seven years. We don't sell this data or share it outside Celeste and the service providers that host our systems.
• Disconnecting.When an engagement ends, or on the client's request, we disconnect the company and delete its connection keys. Retained check results follow the period above.

We take care that the website and the connection work correctly, but we provide them “as is”. Our responsibility to a client for the services we deliver is set by that client's engagement letter with us. These terms don't change it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Thane have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
